Ongoing Civic Storytelling
Documenting the art, history, and people that shape a place.
The work goes beyond documenting completed public projects. The goal is to preserve the voices, intention, and human context behind the art and history of Superior.

The Relationship
BluPoetry has worked with the Town of Superior across multiple public-art and history projects, creating an evolving visual record of the people and stories behind the work.
The Challenge
A finished sculpture, mural, or historic site can be photographed. What is harder to preserve is why it exists, who created it, and what it means to the community.
The Creative Approach
By returning to the same community over time, BluPoetry can connect artwork and place with artist voices, local history, and the people who experience these projects as part of everyday life.
The Work
Projects have included Silencio, Vita Nova, Coyote-Hawk, Watcher and Seer, the Superior Industrial Mine Walking Tour, and the Resilience mural.
The Value
The result is a reusable visual archive that preserves more than the finished work. It preserves context: the people, process, place, and story around it.
